General Property Law and Real Estate Law
Job Responsibilities
The position includes teaching and administration. Teaching constitutes 85% and administration 15% of the annual working time. The work tasks primarily encompass teaching and examination in general property law and real estate law, and possibly supervision of degree projects. The applicant should also be prepared to teach another subject in the law program, such as in legal overview courses and in family law.
Qualifications Requirements
Eligible for employment is a person who has completed a degree from relevant higher education or has equivalent competence, and has demonstrated pedagogical skill.
All teaching positions at Stockholm University presume that the applicant has the ability to cooperate and is otherwise suitable for performing the job tasks.
The applicant must be able to teach and examine in Swedish.
Evaluation Criteria
Weight is placed on pedagogical skill and academic merits. Weight is also given to administrative ability and the ability to cooperate with the surrounding society. Other skills and experience relevant to the position and its work tasks are also considered merits. Experience and interest in the civil law field is a merit.
Meriting factors include higher education pedagogy training of at least 15 higher education credits or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way.
Sufficient computer proficiency to handle the various systems used in teaching is required.
About the Position
The position is full-time and is limited in time to 12 months with the possibility of extension. Start date October 1, 2026 or by agreement.
The adjunct position at Stockholm University does not entail promotion opportunities to scientific positions at a higher level.
