Do you want to be the one who helps thousands of travelers when traffic doesn't go as planned? The information management team is an important part of the traffic control organization at Stockholms Spårvägar. We are responsible for disruption information and traffic information for Nockebybanan, Lidingöbanan, Spårväg City, Tvärbanan, and Saltsjöbanan. Our mission is simple to describe but demanding in practice: the right information must reach the right person at the right time. About the Role As an Information Manager, you are the hub of communication when traffic doesn't go as planned. You inform travelers via loudspeaker announcements, digital signs, the SL app, and sl.se, and maintain ongoing contact with SL's customer service, other traffic operators, internal staff, the press duty officer, and media. The work requires you to quickly absorb information, make correct assessments, and formulate clear messages – both verbally and in writing. The information management team is staffed between 6:00 AM and 10:25 PM every day of the year. Work Tasks As an Information Manager, you will, among other things: inform travelers, SL's customer service, our own staff, and other traffic operators about traffic disruptions. make loudspeaker announcements and publish information in our digital information channels. work according to applicable regulations, instructions, and checklists. work in multiple technical systems simultaneously. order replacement transportation in consultation with the traffic manager. monitor and report faults in information systems. follow the traffic situation and alert the traffic manager to delays and disruptions. administer and report incidents and deviations. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by making a difference for our travelers. You are: quick to absorb information. communicative and express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. stress-resistant and stay calm even when the pace is high. structured, thorough, and solution-oriented. responsive and good at collaborating. responsible and skilled at prioritizing. If you also have a strong interest in public transportation in the Stockholm region, that is a major plus. Basic Requirements We are looking for someone who: is at least 18 years old. has completed upper secondary education or equivalent. has good computer skills. expresses yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. can work the hours required by the operation. has good multitasking ability and the ability to prioritize. Meritorious Qualifications It is meritorious if you: have experience working with traffic or disruption information. have post-secondary education in information or communication. can express yourself well in English, both verbally and in writing. About Traffic Management Traffic management is responsible for the operational management of Stockholms Spårvägar's rail and railroad traffic. Our mission is to create a safe, secure, and punctual journey with travelers and employees as our focus. About the Position We are seeking an Information Manager for part-time employment or as-needed employment. There is also the possibility of longer continuous periods with higher commitment, especially during vacation periods and major holidays.
