IT-Centrum is a shared IT organization for the municipalities of Heby, Knivsta, Tierp, Älvkarleby, and Östhammar. Together, we are responsible for the IT environment used by operations in our five cooperating municipalities. We are responsible for development, installation, operation, support, and management of shared IT systems, IT infrastructure, digital workplaces, and telephony. We also support the municipalities' digital development and continuously work to improve our services and ways of working. IT-Centrum is in a continuous development phase. Your employment is therefore with Tierp Municipality, and the workplace for this position is Tierp. 2 position(s). DUTIES As a 1st Line IT Technician, you are an important part of IT-Centrum's support and often the user's first contact with us. You help our users with IT-related questions and problems and work to provide fast, professional, and pedagogical service. The work involves great variety, from simple support requests that can be resolved directly to identifying, prioritizing, and escalating larger problems to the right function within IT-Centrum. Users contact us primarily through our helpdesk and our ticketing system. We also meet users during scheduled visits to our offices. As part of our support team, you will, among other things: · receive and handle support tickets via phone, ticketing system, and in-person visits · troubleshoot and resolve problems using remote management tools · analyze, categorize, and document incoming tickets · prioritize and escalate tickets according to our procedures and processes · follow up and provide feedback to users on ongoing tickets · administer user accounts and permissions · troubleshoot computers, mobile phones, tablets, and other end-user IT equipment · provide on-site support to our users when needed. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people and has a strong interest in IT and problem-solving. You need to be able to meet users with different technical knowledge levels and explain solutions in a clear, pedagogical, and patient manner. Since IT support is users' entry point to IT-Centrum, we place great emphasis on how you interact with people and your ability to build trust. To succeed in this role, we see that you: · have good knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 · have a genuine interest in IT, technology, and problem-solving · are service-oriented and enjoy working with people · can prioritize and organize your work when multiple tickets are ongoing simultaneously · communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing · have a security-conscious approach to work · have a Class B driver's license. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Merits It is a merit if you have: · experience in IT support, service desk, or helpdesk · experience in customer service or other work involving significant phone contact · experience working in ticketing systems · knowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID · experience with Microsoft 365 · experience supporting iPhone and iPad · secondary or post-secondary education in IT, such as IT technician, IT support, networking, or similar · relevant vocational education in, for example, IT support, IT infrastructure, or operations · relevant certifications in, for example, Microsoft products and services or ITIL. You don't need to know everything from the start. For us, your willingness and ability to learn, combined with good interpersonal skills and interest in IT, are important parts of succeeding and developing in this role.
