Your Workplace One of our wonderful case assessment teams is seeking a new Senior Social Worker! The team is wonderfully inclusive, engaged, structured, and fun! You'll guide colleagues toward long-term sustainable solutions for children and their families and support case workers in advancing both case processes and the unit's development work. Within the Assessment and Protection unit, we work on intake, case assessment, and follow-up work according to current legislation. BBiC and Signs of Safety guide all our work, as we explore networks and families' own solutions together with them, always prioritizing the child's safety and best interests. We drive processes forward by being structured, curious, innovative, and courageous. The Assessment and Protection unit consists of an intake team, two case assessment teams, a high-intensity case assessment team, and the social services domestic violence team. We have extensive and close collaboration within the service area, which also includes the Prevention Support unit and the Family Support and Foster Care unit. Our unit is characterized by respect, safety, courage, curiosity, and work joy. Together we actively work on work environment, well-being, participation, and development. You'll join a team with the unit's four other Senior Social Workers and our two operations-focused unit managers—genuinely pleasant, unpretentious, and competent! Your Assignment As a Senior Social Worker, you lead and distribute work and serve as an accessible support, both individually and in group settings. You represent cases in the municipal board and administrative court. Our Senior Social Workers lead their own work groups and share overall responsibility for team leadership at the unit. As a Senior Social Worker, you have a coordinating role and work toward good collaboration with external and internal operations. You plan, monitor the external environment, and develop our activities at the unit level and within the service area, together with staff, fellow Senior Social Workers, and unit managers. You provide methodological support and take responsibility for orienting new colleagues together with the unit manager and colleagues. You base your work on current legislation and ensure that work is conducted fairly, is of good quality, and is resource-efficient. In your team, you'll work with social workers who are both new to the role and those with many years of experience in municipal authority work. What This Position Requires Requirements Sociology degree (Socionomexamen) Type B driver's license Experience with municipal authority work within social services Meritorious Experience in team leadership roles Experience with social work with children and youth Training in leadership, BBiC, Signs of Safety, evidence-based methods, MI, or ViNR For employment involving municipal authority work, a background check will be conducted and diplomas will be obtained directly from the college or university. To obtain employment, a statement of no criminal record from the Swedish Police must be presented. A statement from the suspicion register may also be relevant depending on the position.
