The unit consists of driven employees with the will to create positive change for the residents of Lerum. In our Adult Unit, you will be part of a work team where community and collaboration are in focus. We help each other, come up with ideas, and share knowledge with one another. The unit handles and works with substance abuse and addiction, domestic violence, social psychiatry, and housing-related interventions, etc. The target group is people over 20 years old. Everyone on the unit has many years of experience in the unit's area of responsibility. We are a work team that enjoys working together, helps each other when needed, and has fun together. As a Senior Social Worker, you are part of the unit's management team. We offer you supervision together with other Senior Social Workers within the sector. In Lerum you have good commuting options to the workplace as it is located near the commuter station with approximately 1 minute walk to the office. From Gothenburg Central Station or Alingsås it takes approximately 20 minutes by train to Lerum. If you drive by car, there is free parking. DUTIES The position involves primary responsibility for social psychiatry and housing-related matters, but you will work closely with Senior Social Workers with responsibility for substance abuse, domestic violence, dropouts, etc. The work as a Senior Social Worker involves, among other things, leading and distributing work in the unit as first-line supervisor, providing case guidance to staff, and ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with applicable legislation and that adopted goals, routines, and guidelines are followed. It also means providing environmental orientation; being involved in creating conditions for the work to be conducted according to current knowledge and proven experience. You work to maintain legal certainty within the unit and strive for selected assistance/interventions to be quality assured and cost-effective. Collaboration with other actors regarding housing is part of the assignment. You provide methodological guidance both in groups and individually, guidance adapted according to staff competence and need for support in structuring/prioritizing. The assignment also includes participating in the development of the business through methodological development themes based on the unit's goals. Within the role is a collaboration responsibility that means promoting and participating in collaboration with collaboration partners both internally and externally. In the position you will be responsible for introducing new employees together with the unit manager. Our ambition is to have high client participation and otherwise legally secure handling in all aspects. First and foremost, we use internal interventions. In your role as Senior Social Worker, you will present cases at the individual board and also in administrative court. QUALIFICATIONS You have a degree as a social worker (socionomexamen), extensive experience in authority work within the business area is required, and experience as a Senior Social Worker or equivalent management function. You have a very strong ability to lead and develop employees in their professional role. You must have close collaboration with the business's other senior staff and you will cover for each other during absences. You are stable and can maintain your composure and objectivity in difficult situations and provide employees with individually adapted support. You are driven, engaged, confident, have a holistic perspective, and a professional approach. You have the ability to prioritize, are thorough and analytical, knowledgeable, and have the ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and pedagogical ability to share it with others. You have a very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Experience in handling social psychiatry matters is a requirement, and experience with housing-related matters is meritorious, as is experience with ICF. As the work may involve travel, a Class B driver's license is required. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Employment type: Permanent employment.
