About the Operations Women's Health Care in Dalarna has approximately 250 employees in total. Our operations consist of both 24/7 care and several outpatient clinics. The 24/7 care includes labor and antenatal departments, as well as postpartum/gynecology units. Our clinics include a postpartum clinic, postpartum follow-up clinic, social services clinic, specialized maternity care, and gynecology clinics in Falun and Mora. The gynecology clinic in Falun provides acute on-call services during daytime hours and planned gynecological physician and midwife services. The clinic also has an operating department where we perform incontinence and prolapse surgeries, treatment of cell abnormalities, and other gynecological outpatient procedures. The clinic performs 40% of the Women's Clinic's gynecological surgical procedures. In total, we receive over 20,000 visits per year at our outpatient facilities in Falun. Job Responsibilities As the first-line manager of the Gynecology Clinic in Falun, you will be responsible for 20 employees in the midwife, nursing, and nursing assistant groups, working closely with the physician team and the medical director. The role requires present-day leadership close to operations. You create clarity in roles, priorities, and working methods and lead, together with competent and independent staff, the clinic's continued development. You have overall responsibility for operations, staff, work environment, budget, staffing, quality, and patient safety. The role includes planning, managing, and following up on operations, as well as actively working with production, accessibility, and wait times. You use results as the basis for prioritization, planning, and improvement. You lead the clinic's development efforts together with staff and in close collaboration with the operations manager and medical director, as well as other relevant units. Collaboration with the gynecology clinic in Mora is an integral part of operations, as is collaboration with the rest of women's health care units, both outpatient clinics and 24/7 care. Women's Health Care Falun-Mora is a joint county clinic, and we create synergistic effects through joint training initiatives and opportunities to learn from each other. We work toward broad competence among all staff so that the Women's Clinic as a whole functions as well as possible. The position is full-time, and the management role is the primary assignment. There may be an opportunity to combine part of the position with clinical work. The distribution will be determined based on operational needs, the candidate's competence, and the ability to fulfill the management role in a sustainable manner. As a first-line manager, you will be part of the management group for the Women's Clinic and patient hotel. Qualifications Requirements: Relevant health care education with Swedish professional license Meritorious: Previous management or leadership experience, management training Previous work in women's health care and/or outpatient clinic work Personal Qualities: To succeed in this role, you need to lead with clarity, trust, and attentiveness. You can prioritize, make decisions, and follow up on what has been decided. You create participation and good collaborations even when different professions and perspectives need to be weighed together. You work in a structured manner, have the ability to see the needs of the entire women's health care organization, and can translate goals and follow-up into practical improvement work. You communicate clearly and can handle even difficult questions and conversations in a respectful and constructive manner. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
