About the Operations Specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a regional operation with the goal of offering good, equitable, and person-centered palliative care to the region's residents. The operation consists of seven multiprofessional palliative home care teams working around the clock, every day of the year, with physician availability at night. This also includes a care unit with eight inpatient beds. Close collaboration takes place with primary care, hospital clinics, municipal health and medical services, as well as patients' relatives and other networks to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care. Job Responsibilities As a first line manager, you will have operational, personnel, and budget responsibility for the palliative team in Leksand-Rättvik. You also have personnel responsibility for the clinic's physician group, consisting of 12 doctors located at various sites throughout Dalarna. Your assignment is to lead, develop, and coordinate the operation together with staff and fellow managers. You create the conditions for a good work environment, high quality care, and continued operational development. As an important part of the clinic's management team, you actively contribute to strategic work and the development of specialized palliative care in the region. The position involves a 3-year management assignment with a permanent employment contract in your base profession. Qualifications Requirements - Higher education in an area that the employer considers relevant - Previous experience in management positions with personnel responsibility - Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - Good knowledge of relevant legislation in public operations and health and medical services Meriting Factors - Leadership training - Relevant certification in health and medical services - Experience leading licensed health and medical service personnel - Experience collaborating with various stakeholders - Experience with budget and financial responsibility - Experience with, or interest in, palliative care Personal Qualities We are looking for you as a confident and clear leader who creates engagement and helps people grow.
