Occupational Therapy and Coordinator Unit Falun Ludvika Mora and Physical Therapy Dalarna are two region-wide units within Region Dalarna's healthcare that conduct occupational therapy, coordinator, and physical therapy services at the hospitals in Falun, Ludvika, and Mora. Operations are conducted in both inpatient and outpatient care and cover services across many different diagnoses and competency areas. The operations also include educational efforts for healthcare staff, development work, and practice-based training for students. We are now seeking a joint first line manager for our Occupational Therapy Unit and Physical Therapy Unit at Ludvika Hospital. The Occupational Therapy Unit as well as the Physical Therapy Unit in Ludvika are responsible for services in both inpatient and outpatient care within medicine, geriatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation medicine, and palliative teams. The units are located in shared facilities and have a long-standing good collaboration. The operation is characterized by close collaboration with patient care clinics, high competence, and close team collaboration with other professions. The physical therapy team describes how their good camaraderie, positive attitude, and willingness to develop create a safe and stimulating work environment for both staff and patients. The occupational therapy team describes how they, with good collaboration skills and a great sense of humor, try to make each workday the best. We are in an exciting development phase where physical therapy, occupational therapy, coordinator, speech pathology, and dietitian services across the region are undergoing joint organizational development. As a department manager, you will be an important part of this development work. Responsibilities As a first line manager, you have overall responsibility for the department's operations, staff, and finances. A large part of your work involves collaboration with other operations and care partners. You will be part of the operation's management group together with first line manager colleagues, operations developers, and the operations manager. You are expected to actively contribute to developing tomorrow's rehabilitation and the transition to good, accessible care. An important part of the assignment is to work with colleagues to develop a more cohesive rehabilitation chain and create a long-term sustainable organization. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a communicative, clear, and attentive leader. You have good self-awareness and the ability to create good collaboration, build good relationships, and lead through change. You have good ability to plan and structure your work and have a genuine interest in the operation's daily work and employees' conditions. Requirements - License in a healthcare profession - Experience from work within healthcare - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - Driver's license category B Meritorious - License in a rehabilitation profession - Formal management and leadership training - Previous management experience or other leadership role within rehabilitation services - Experience with change management The assignment is a fixed-term management appointment for three years with permanent employment in your base profession. Given the ongoing organizational development, it is assumed that anyone offered the position will actively participate in the development work and accept that the assignment's organizational affiliation and content may be adjusted based on the operation's future needs.
