As a refrigeration technician, you'll work with some of society's most important functions. You'll help businesses and operations maintain the right temperature in everything from buildings and industrial environments to shops and facilities.
About the training
The training is conducted in collaboration with our group company Satellite Group, which is responsible for the training program. Over 12 intensive weeks, theory is combined with practical elements to give you the right foundation to succeed as a refrigeration technician. You'll gain knowledge in, among other areas:
Electrical knowledge
Blueprint reading
Control and regulation systems
Refrigeration cycle structure and components
Installation, service, and troubleshooting
The training concludes with Refrigeration Certificate Category 1, an important and highly sought-after certification in the industry.
Program Information
Prep studies: September 21 – October 16, 2026
Intensive training: October 19, 2026 – January 22, 2027
(Christmas break weeks 52–53)
Training location: Linköping and online
Housing is available if needed.
First day of work: January 25, 2027
Work location after training: Gällivare
Who are we looking for?
You don't need to have worked as a refrigeration technician before. However, we believe you:
Have an interest in technology and hands-on work
Enjoy solving problems
Are responsible and want to develop
Have good collaboration skills
Take a long-term view of your next career
If you have experience from, for example, industry, production, vehicles, construction, electrical work, or other technical professions, that's a plus, but not required.
