He also enjoys spending some time outdoors every day to be active. The boy requires constant supervision and needs assistance with everything in his daily life. He does not have verbal speech and communicates through body language and sounds. This means you need to be attentive to different signals, calm, and able to interpret body language. His mood can change quickly, and as a personal assistant you need to be observant to quickly and smoothly redirect frustration. The boy attends school during the day without his personal assistant. After school, work is mostly done at home with the boy and his family, which is why it is important that you are good at communication, have a respectful approach, and strong empathetic abilities. The boy is mostly fed through a feeding tube and requires supervision due to severe epilepsy. The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. Thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. A driver's license is a requirement. It is desirable that you have knowledge of child development, are pedagogical, somewhat creative, and enjoy trying different activities with the boy to support his development. Since the client does not have spoken language and has difficulty expressing himself, you need to be creative, attentive, and observant of small signals. Experience with personal assistance and epilepsy is a merit, but personal suitability and care experience will be weighted most heavily.
