We are looking for personal assistants for a cheerful 9-year-old girl in Strängnäs. We need committed assistants for one of our younger clients – a girl with a big personality and extensive care needs. As an assistant, you will be a crucial part of creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for both the child and the family. About the Position Our client is a 9-year-old girl with extensive care needs. She is cheerful and social and needs support with everything in her daily life. She enjoys music, crafts, and going for walks. During school hours, you accompany the girl to school and support her during lessons. After school, you work mostly at the girl's home with her family. It is therefore important that you are good at communicating, have a respectful and caring approach, and possess good empathetic abilities. The girl needs help with everything in her daily life. She does not have spoken language but expresses herself through sounds and facial expressions. She uses a feeding tube and requires breathing assistance including a cough machine and suction equipment. The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity. Thorough and clear introduction is provided upon employment. A car and driver's license are a requirement to get to and from work. Since the client has no spoken language and has difficulty expressing herself, it is essential that you are creative, attentive, and responsive to subtle signals. Experience in personal assistance is a merit, but personal suitability and care experience will be weighted most heavily. Please indicate in your application when you are available for the position.
