We are now seeking a personal assistant for a fixed schedule with a reliable and positive 27-year-old man with a strong interest in sports. There is a well-developed implementation plan in place, and it is of utmost importance that you as an applicant are responsive, thorough, and can work according to clear routines. Daily documentation and ongoing updates to the implementation plan are an integral part of the work. The client lives with the very rare diagnosis FOP (Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva), which means his body needs to be handled with great care in all situations. You need to be his extra arms and legs, helping with everything from personal hygiene, physical assistance, cooking, cleaning, and other tasks. As an assistant, it is important that you are attentive and have the ability to stay one step ahead – to prevent and avoid risks and thereby contribute to a safe daily life. You should be mature in your approach and confident in handling both simple and more demanding situations. You will work both as part of a team and independently. We are looking for someone who is: Confident in yourself, responsive, punctual, flexible, action-oriented, and has a genuine interest in your work. The client appreciates assistants who are straightforward and clear in their communication, both verbally and through body language. Good physical fitness and strength as an assistant is important as there are some transfers involved. The work is based on respect for the individual's self-determination and integrity.
