LU Service is recruiting several facility cleaners for assignments in the university's various properties. About the Workplace LU Service, the Facility Services department, provides cleaning and custodial services to the entire university. We operate with trust-based leadership in an inclusive culture. Our employees work in various buildings, primarily in Lund but also in Malmö and Helsingborg. The current position is placed within the Facility Services department, which offers cleaning and custodial services. Leadership in the section is trust-based, and management and operational support are centralized in Lund. Employees are stationed in various buildings in Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Ljungbyhed. About the Role The position involves traditional facility cleaning primarily in office environments, but also cleaning of laboratories, lecture halls, and clean rooms, for example. You will work in a dedicated team where collaboration, responsibility, and excellent service are in focus. You work according to daily cleaning routines, but you may also need to adjust your day when necessary. We need a fantastic facility cleaner, and with us you have the opportunity to grow, develop, and become an even greater star than you already are. You To succeed as a facility cleaner with us, you clean with high quality, know how to operate cleaning equipment, can work ergonomically, and are familiar with different cleaning methods. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, thorough, flexible, and always treats people with respect. Because Lund University is a workplace with people from around the world, you need to speak English, and to understand descriptions and safety instructions, you need to speak Swedish well. You will work in several different systems and computer programs, so you need to quickly grasp and understand different systems and be comfortable working with both computers and mobile devices. Qualifications Requirements for the Position work experience in service such as facility cleaning, custodial work, restaurant, or hotel training in facility cleaning such as SRY, PRYL, or equivalent experience that the employer considers equivalent experience operating cleaning equipment digital proficiency good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written good English speaking skills. It is an advantage if you have B-class driver's license experience with floor care and window cleaning knowledge of ergonomics and sustainable cleaning practices. What We Offer You are employed under collective agreement with irregular working hours of 40 hours/week.
