About the Position We are now seeking an engaged and skilled welding manager who wants to take a key role in developing and ensuring quality in welding processes in a modern production environment with one of our clients in Sjöbo. This is a role for someone who wants to combine operational work with responsibility for structure, quality, and development – and who thrives being a central function in production. As welding manager, you have overall responsibility for the welding area. You lead and monitor daily work on the department while ensuring that processes, routines, and documentation meet applicable quality requirements according to ISO 3834-2. You work both strategically and practically – from developing work methods and training personnel to participating in production yourself when needed. Your Responsibilities - Ensure that weld data sheets, instructions, and documentation are up to date and followed - Monitor and document welding work according to quality requirements - Ensure that welding personnel have proper training and certifications - Report deviations and actively work on improvements - Contribute to flexible production through competency development and cross-departmental collaboration - Support production through operational welding work when needed Your Profile You have solid experience in welding and feel confident in both the practical craft and working with quality and processes. You are structured, solution-oriented, and have a natural drive to improve work methods and develop both operations and colleagues. You who are applying have: - Experience with TIG, MAG (including tubular wire) and Orbital welding - Knowledge equivalent to IWE, IWT, or IWS - Experience with machining (drilling, threading, cutting) - Good blueprint reading and measurement techniques - Good Swedish and English comprehension - Computer skills and B driver's license, forklift certification, and overhead crane certification It is a merit if you have: - Certification in VT-2 and/or PT-2 - Valid welding certificates (preferably stainless steel) - Experience with improvement work (Lean/Six Sigma) - Leadership experience - Experience with business systems (such as Monitor) We process incoming applications on an ongoing basis and contact only those who meet the application requirements.
