Job Responsibilities As a Maintenance Mechanic with our client just outside Falkenberg, you'll become an important part of production in the food industry. You'll work to ensure that the client's production equipment functions optimally and contribute to safe and efficient production. Your main responsibilities include: - Preventative maintenance of machines and production lines - Troubleshooting and repair during downtime - Ongoing improvements to technical solutions - Collaboration with the production team to minimize downtime - Documentation of completed work The position is full-time with shift work. You will also have on-call duty every fourth week, which means you must be able to be on-site within one hour if needed. Background and Personal Qualities We're looking for someone with education or experience in industrial, automation, electrical, or other technical fields. Experience from food production is a merit. Requirements for the position: - Driver's license and access to a car - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Ability to participate in on-call duty according to schedule Merits for the position: - Experience with TIG and/or stick welding - Electrical knowledge - Forklift certification As a person, you're curious and technically minded. You enjoy working closely with your colleagues and understand the importance of good collaboration in a production environment. At the same time, you're independent, take your own initiative, and have the ability to drive your work forward. You're also responsible, solution-oriented, and have a structured work approach. The work takes place in an environment that can periodically be demanding, for example in cold spaces, which requires both attention to detail and perseverance.
