About the Role As a construction project manager, you are responsible for projects from early planning to handover. Projects vary in size and scope and include renovations, extensions, refurbishments, and service work for both private and public sectors. You will be a central point of contact between clients, colleagues, consultants, and contractors and will be part of an experienced and committed team where quality, cost control, and schedule discipline are guiding principles. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through all phases: feasibility study, design, procurement, production, and closeout. Manage schedules, budgets, and project finances with ongoing monitoring and forecasting. Procure and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Review design documents, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure functionality, quality, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with clients, authorities, safety representatives, and other stakeholders. Document, report, and prepare decision-making materials. Drive workplace safety and health initiatives; BAS-P/BAS-U where applicable. Who Are You? You combine technical expertise with business and customer focus. Qualifications Relevant post-secondary education (e.g., engineering degree or civil engineering degree) or equivalent experience. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction project management; documented independent project responsibility required. Experience from client, consultant, or contractor perspective; experience across multiple roles is a merit. Solid understanding of project finance, procurement, construction law (AB04/ABT06), building regulations, and standards; experience with authority contacts and permitting processes. Experience managing subcontractors and quality assuring design documents. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing; good computer skills. Valid driver's license (Class B) required. Personal qualities: responsible, organized, communicative, proactive, and collaborative.
