Are you our new colleague? We are looking for two nursing assistants at Skogsgläntan. Skogsgläntan care and accommodation facility is located in Stora Sundby, about 30 km west of Eskilstuna. The facility has 22 apartments distributed across two units in a beautiful and nature-like environment. Person-centered care is the focus at the residence, and eleven of the positions are oriented toward individuals with dementia. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant with us, you work with standard care tasks based on each resident's individual needs and circumstances. You provide support and assistance in their daily lives to create a meaningful, secure, and active everyday life. The role includes delegated health and medical care tasks, documentation, and development of care plans. As a contact person, you are responsible for following up and coordinating services for a number of residents, with a focus on participation and individualized care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a valid driver's license (category B) and access to your own car. You have experience working in care and health services and feel confident in your professional role. We would like you to have experience with documentation in documentation systems. It is also an advantage if you have: • Experience working in elderly care. • Experience working with individuals who have dementia and/or multiple chronic conditions. • Knowledge of quality registers, such as BPSD or Senior Alert. As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-oriented. You have a positive attitude and a good ability to see the bigger picture in your work. You enjoy collaborating with others and find it easy to build good relationships with both residents, family members, and colleagues. Professional conduct and high service awareness are an integral part of your work approach. To be considered for the position, you must provide proof of protected professional title from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). You can order this on their website.
