The Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) department, with about 65 employees, provides comprehensive specialist care in diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation of diseases and functional impairments in the ear, nose, and throat area, as well as emergency services. The department has well-developed medical operations within most ENT specialties and is supported by its own audiologists and speech-language pathologists. In certain ENT diagnostic areas, CSK has a regional responsibility, for example pediatric sleep apnea assessments. JOB DUTIES We are now welcoming two nursing assistants for fixed-term positions at our ear clinic in Kristianstad! As a nursing assistant at the ear clinic, you are offered interesting and varied work. In your role, you assist doctors with their scheduled clinics, emergency clinics, and outpatient procedures. At the clinic, you as a nursing assistant also have your own clinic, such as wound care, and you also participate in other teams. In our core staffing, both nursing assistants and sometimes nurses cover the rinsing position. You will meet patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly in our community. No two days are alike, which is the charm of working in our department. Despite its seemingly small scope, the ENT department is large and broad, which provides good development opportunities. The ear clinic is a department under development as a generational change among doctors is now in its final stages, resulting in new exciting forms of clinics. Right now we are strengthening our healthcare staff so we can develop the sleep section so that those working there can concentrate on that area. If we can achieve a positive change, there may be a chance for extension or a permanent position. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00. Every eighth week includes work two evenings with our pediatric sleep apnea assessments. These shifts are currently covered, but changes can occur and are part of our assignment. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a trained nursing assistant and meet the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for protected professional title, regardless of whether you studied according to previous or current program structure. Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are a requirement. Previous experience in hospital care is also required. If you have experience working in ear, nose, and throat care, other clinic work, or acute care, that is meritorious. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of the Melior and Pasis systems.
