About the Position The pool's mission within the municipality is to contribute to stable and secure staffing in elderly care, both in home care and in special housing facilities. By covering absences and temporary needs, the pool creates the conditions for operations to function continuously with maintained quality. As a pool employee, you work flexibly where the need is greatest. You meet elderly people with varying support and care needs, and your role is to contribute to security, continuity, and respectful treatment in everyday life. The work always starts from the individual's wishes, abilities, and life situation, with a focus on creating a meaningful and dignified existence. The position involves varied and dynamic work, and you contribute to continuity and quality in care by flexibly adapting to new situations. Working hours are primarily arranged for night shifts and weekends, though evening work may also occur. The position involves work throughout the geographic area of Arvika municipality. Qualifications Nursing assistant certification Experience in home care and special housing facilities Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written B-category driver's license and access to a car We are seeking someone who treats people with respect, dignity, and professionalism, and who always considers the individual's needs and life situation. You have good communication skills and a calm, low-key demeanor that contributes to security, especially when working with people with dementia. Through your manner, you build trust and good relationships, both with the elderly and with your colleagues. You enjoy collaborating with others, but are also confident working independently and taking initiative. Your structured work style allows you to follow instructions while handling varied situations responsibly. Because the work is varied, you have good adaptability and are motivated by quickly familiarizing yourself with new environments, routines, and work methods.
