About the assignment The assignment of the pool operation within the municipality is to contribute to stable and secure staffing within elderly care, both in home services and in special housing facilities. By covering absences and temporary needs, the pool creates the conditions for operations to function continuously with maintained quality. As a pool employee, you work flexibly where the need is greatest. You meet elderly people with varying needs for support and care, and your role is to contribute to security, continuity and respectful treatment in everyday life. The work always proceeds from the individual's wishes, abilities and life situation, with a focus on creating a meaningful and dignified existence. The assignment involves varied and dynamic work and you contribute to continuity and quality in care by flexibly adapting to new situations Working hours vary between day, evening and weekends, and work takes place throughout Arvika kommun's geographic area Qualifications Nursing assistant certification Experience in home services and special housing facilities Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Class B driver's license and access to a car We are looking for someone who treats people with respect, dignity and professionalism, and who always proceeds from the individual's needs and life situation. You have good communication skills and a calm, low-key approach that contributes to security, especially when meeting people with dementia. Through your way of being, you create trust and good relationships, both with the elderly and with your colleagues. Your structured way of working means you can follow instructions while handling varying situations responsibly. Because the work is varied, you have good adaptability and are motivated by quickly familiarizing yourself with new environments, routines and ways of working.
