About the Workplace The SafetyAlarm service in Uddevalla Municipality is part of home care with the mission to quickly and professionally handle incoming alarms. We create security and quality for people with safety alarms, where support is needed most. We are a dedicated team that uses welfare technology and digital tools to work efficiently and safely. Our goal is to enable people to stay in their homes as long as possible, with security in everyday life. With us, you make a difference every day. Job Responsibilities As a nursing assistant in the safety alarm service, you are a key person who creates security and dignity for our users during night hours. You provide professional care where it is needed most and work together with a colleague in a dedicated team, always with a focus on making a difference every night. The work involves night shifts and working every other weekend. You need to be a safe and responsible driver who feels comfortable driving in all weather conditions, as the entire municipality is your workplace. The role includes, among other things: receiving and responding to safety alarms handling event signals from medical equipment conducting remote supervision documenting according to applicable procedures working closely with the home care night organization when quick interventions are needed We are looking for someone who is curious about digital technology, has the ability to stay calm in pressured situations, and wants to work with welfare technology as a natural part of everyday work. You also actively contribute to the development of working methods and procedures; together we create the care of the future. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a nursing assistant for the safety alarm service We are looking for someone who is: Stress-resistant – Alarms can mean pressured situations, so it is important to stay calm. Flexible – The work day can vary greatly depending on which alarms come in. Interested in technology – You work independently with digital tools and welfare technology, so you need to feel comfortable with technology. Have good communication skills – You need to communicate clearly and kindly with both users and colleagues. Have empathy and are responsive – You possess the ability to meet people in vulnerable situations with respect and care. Have good cooperation skills – you are responsible and solution-oriented, while being a team player who always works together with a colleague and cooperates with home care at night Qualifications Trained nursing assistant with protected professional title At least 1 year of experience working in home care Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing Category B driver's license Other Information The position is a rotating position. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period. __________________________ For positions where credentials/valid evidence from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title are required, this must be submitted before employment. Language assessment is conducted for certain occupational groups before employment can be considered. Criminal record check is conducted for all employment within the social services. For employment in HVB activities, a HVB-home extract is requested. For employment in activities aimed at children with disabilities, extracts for children with disabilities and verification of personal information are requested. For other employment within social services, the personal information verification extract is requested.
