The Medical Imaging and Function department (VO bild och funktion) at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) conducts world-class diagnostics with investigations and treatments in many different areas. We perform approximately 450,000 examinations per year while conducting cutting-edge research. Our catchment areas are diverse within specialist healthcare, national highly specialized care, and regional assignments. We operate with high-tech equipment used to perform imaging and functional examinations, such as conventional radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, interventional procedures, and nuclear medicine. WORK TASKS We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the pediatric and skeletal radiology department within Medical Imaging and Function at Sus in Lund! As a nursing assistant with us, you are an important part of the patient's journey through healthcare. You meet patients of different ages at different stages and help create security, participation, and professional care. The work tasks are varied, combining patient care work and administrative tasks. The position also includes evening and weekend shifts at Emergency Radiology. This includes, among other things: - Booking, entering referrals, and reception work. - Preparatory ward rounds and image transfer. - Work in MR, CT, and conventional labs together with radiologic technologists where you receive and assist patients before, during, and after examinations. - Prepare and assist ultrasound-guided examinations. - Handling materials, orders, and logistics. We work in interprofessional teams and help ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Our teams include physicians, radiologic technologists, nursing assistants, and administrative staff. Medical Imaging and Function works with digital systems such as RIS and PACS where we receive all referrals, book examinations, archive images, and register the examination and its progress. We provide you with in-house training in both RIS and PACS as well as training in several different positions in our operation. The job as a nursing assistant with us is varied and substantive. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant with a focus on acute care/healthcare according to the previous program structure, or are trained as a nursing assistant within the new program structure who has completed all specializations. Excellent Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are a requirement for the position. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in a radiology department, operations involving patient scheduling, or reception work within healthcare. We also consider it advantageous if you already have knowledge of the RIS and PACS systems.
