Description We are seeking a qualified upper secondary school teacher of German. The position consists of two "subject levels" totaling 40 percent, and the instruction can, if desired, be compressed to Mondays and Tuesdays (but it is also possible to follow the regular schedule for our modern languages on multiple weekdays). Communication skills and building good relationships with both colleagues and students are important. Duties Teach German at the upper secondary level, both beginner and advanced levels, to two classes. Some flexibility regarding the schedule, but there are of course limitations. If you have difficulty following regular schedule positions for modern languages, instruction can be placed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Qualifications You have upper secondary school teacher certification in German. You should have strong communicative and language skills and, in dialogue with students, facilitate their learning and language development. You should enjoy people and be a team player who gets along well with others. Tumba receives students from approximately 20 municipalities, many from the Stockholm area, and they come to us with high ambitions and different educational backgrounds. We work purposefully to develop all of them for the future. Teaching experience is a plus, as are good ICT skills. We work in a Google environment, and familiarity with digitalization in education is positive. Curiosity and some familiarity with AI is a plus. Of course, we also welcome applicants directly from teacher training programs provided you have the right profile and qualifications.
