* We are now looking for a TIG welder for a consulting assignment with a customer just outside Ljungby. The customer works with precision mechanical manufacturing of stainless steel and aluminum components and needs to strengthen their team with a meticulous TIG welder. You will be employed by us and work at the customer – for the right person, the assignment can transition into a permanent position directly with the customer. Job Description You will perform TIG welding (141) of structural components primarily in stainless steel and aluminum. The work requires high precision and clean welds. Common tasks include blueprint reading, fixture and component setup, tack welding, and welding in various positions (e.g., TIG welding of thin sheets and tubes). You perform self-inspection of welds according to applicable quality requirements and ensure they meet high standards. Blueprint and WPS reading are part of your daily routine to follow specifications on joint preparation and welding method. You collaborate with colleagues in the welding and assembly team and contribute to the company's quality and safety culture. We are Looking for You as * An experienced TIG welder (141) with good manual skills and an eye for detail. You have welded in stainless steel and/or aluminum and master thin materials with high precision. * Welding certificate according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1 (steel) or 9606-2 (aluminum) for TIG welding, certifying your competence. * Blueprint reading: Excellent skills in reading and following blueprints and welding symbols on drawings. * Material and process knowledge: Understanding of the properties of stainless steel, aluminum, and any other materials you weld, as well as skill in selecting the right filler material and settings for these. * Quality awareness: Ability to perform visual weld inspections and work systematically with quality and safety requirements. * Language: You master Swedish in speech and writing to follow instructions and communicate with colleagues. Merits: * Breadth of welding competence: Experience with MIG/MAG or MMA welding in addition to TIG is advantageous, as is familiarity with various material thicknesses and alloys. * Certifications: Possession of multiple valid welding licenses (e.g., for different materials or welding positions) in addition to TIG. * Other competencies: Knowledge of welding fixturing, CNC operation, or mechanical processing such as grinding/polishing is viewed positively. A forklift or overhead crane certificate can also be advantageous if heavy components are used in production.
