The opportunity Hitachi Energy Insulation and Components portfolio covers a wide range of transformer applications, from small distribution transformers to larger power transformers. Our customer portfolio includes Transformer OEMs, components distributors, utilities, and service companies. To support our operations in Europe, we are looking for an experienced Territory Sales and Marketing Manager to manage primarily the Nordic countries, Netherlands, and Romania. The role will be based in Sweden or the Netherlands, with international business travel required at an estimated 40%. How you'll make an impact Responsibility for Sales and Marketing of the full I&C portfolio within allocated countries for 3rd party transformer OEMs. Also accountable for delivering OR budget for all applicable I&C factories, for direct customers and end-customers. Conduct technical trainings for all types of customers. Product Portfolio will include: high voltage bushings, non-condenser core bushings, on-load tap changers, transformer insulation, transformer digital monitoring portfolio, and measuring and safety devices. Liaise with our I&C factories globally to ensure quotations and proper technical support are provided. Manage product customization projects. Liaise with Utilities to homologate and obtain approval for the I&C portfolio, clarify tender specifications. Feed Market Intelligence to I&C factories, our Global Product Group, and local product managers. Provide regular OR forecasts per country for the full I&C portfolio. Collaborate with Hitachi Energy Sales channels and 3rd parties on Service projects. Create synergies between I&C factories to increase sales volumes per project. Support all promotional Marketing events in Europe organized by I&C Product line Marketing. Your background University Degree (Bachelor or Master) in a technical discipline, ideally Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, plus further qualification in business administration. More than 5 years of experience in technical and international sales and marketing, supporting multiple products, customers, and countries. Market or product knowledge in the field of power transformer or distribution transformer insulation and components is essential. Experience in business development, account management, and cross-selling across systems, solutions, products, and service categories. Understanding of contract negotiation, risk management, and commercial and legal terms. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, customer-focused. Ability to establish and manage long-term customer relationships. Excellent planning and organization skills. Sound knowledge of MS Office and CRM, preferably Salesforce. Business fluent in English and Swedish, spoken and written, is a must. Dutch or any other European language skill is an advantage.
