We are now seeking a technical specialist who combines technical expertise with drive to improve and develop our operations in Northern Sweden. About the Role As a technical specialist within Asfalt Nord, you will play a central role in supporting, developing, and optimizing our asphalt plants. The role involves close collaboration with our current technical specialist, site managers, and the production organization. You will work both operationally and with a development focus – from supporting daily operations and technical issues to driving improvement initiatives, investments, and development projects. The role also includes responsibility for contributing to technical planning, monitoring, and development of our facilities and work methods, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Support the asphalt plants on technical matters related to production, equipment, and operations Identify improvement areas and drive the implementation of measures Participate in and lead projects within production, investments, and renovations Contribute to the development of systematic maintenance, planning, and technical processes Support site managers in administrative and monitoring tasks Serve as a contact person on technical matters for suppliers and internal functions Participate in the selection of technical equipment and development of our facilities Ensure good control over production assets and contribute to cost-efficient operations Contribute to the development of asphalt recycling and sustainable production Your Profile We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who thrives in a role where you combine analysis, structure, and practical improvement work. Desirable Competencies: We would like to see that you have a relevant university or college degree in engineering, for example in mechanical, construction, or industrial engineering. Experience from production or process industry is valuable, as is a background in project management, improvement work, as well as administrative tasks and monitoring. Meritorious: Experience from asphalt plants or similar process facilities Experience with maintenance, investments, or operational optimization Knowledge of systematic maintenance, energy, or recycling related to production Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are: Structured and have good analytical abilities Driven and able to turn ideas into practical results Independent but comfortable working closely with others Communicative and confident in dialogue with different parts of the organization You have a natural holistic perspective and see the connection between technology, production, and economics.
