Join us in accelerating the transition to a sustainable society. Job Description We are now seeking a Technical Manager for road and land development to join our great team and office in Östersund. You will take on exciting projects while strengthening our team. Do you want to help shape the future sustainable society? Then AFRY is the workplace for you! In this role, you are responsible for the technical domain and ensure that projects are executed with high quality, within budget, and on schedule. You work with technical design, lead and support colleagues, and collaborate closely with clients and other technical areas. Assignments range from smaller local projects to larger, long-term, and complex projects spanning several years. An important part of the role is developing tender documents, and it's a merit if you have experience working with technical specifications and associated quantity lists. Several major industrial and infrastructure investments are planned in Northern Sweden in the coming years. Together with you, we look forward to taking on the challenges and opportunities these projects present within infrastructure and community development. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a passion for seeing people grow and for creating effective solutions together. We believe you have several years of experience in land and road development and are ready to take the next step in your career. You have a university degree, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways. We also see that you have good knowledge of the laws, standards, and technical guidelines that govern the industry, and that you can ensure our projects comply with applicable regulations and maintain high technical quality. You are interested in technology and ideally have experience from the construction industry. As a team player, you enjoy sharing your knowledge. You have strong communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English.
