Team Manager in IT Development at Svea Bank (Temporary Contract)

We are looking for someone with a background in systems development and leadership experience who wants to take the next step in a role where people and technology are at the center. With us, you'll have the opportunity as a Team Manager to lead and develop a team working on next-generation financial solutions. This is a temporary contract until April 30, 2027 with a potential chance for extension. What does the role involve? As a Team Manager in the Banking Services business area, you will have personnel responsibility for several groups of developers who are part of different agile development teams. Your main task is to ensure that the teams have the right competencies, prerequisites, and support to take ideas all the way from concept to production. Your responsibilities include leading and following up on the teams' work toward set goals, coaching and supporting employees in their development, and ensuring a good, sustainable, and inclusive work environment. In this role, you will also serve as an important link between IT development and the business, where you contribute a technical perspective related to developments in the area. The development teams take great responsibility for products and systems, in close collaboration with the business. Development of banking services, primarily for corporate customers, takes place mainly in a .NET environment. Who are you? You should have a good basic understanding of systems development or have worked as an Agile Coach or Systems Developer, and thus be able to understand your team members' daily work. You have an interest in or previous exposure to self-organizing teams and are motivated by creating efficient teams and work methods. We also believe you have a good understanding of working in a regulatory or highly demanding organization, as this is part of everyday life at Svea. As a leader, you have the ability to set a clear common direction and communicate directly, and you create a climate in the team where everyone feels comfortable speaking their mind.
