Dental Hygienist with Operational Area Responsibility for Mobile Dental Care

AMA Dental is seeking a dental hygienist for our mobile dental care services in the Stockholm Region. This position is ideal for you if you want to work clinically as a dental hygienist while also taking on greater practical responsibility for planning, materials, structure, and follow-up. About the Role You will work in our mobile team alongside dentists and dental hygienists. We provide care to patients who have difficulty traveling to a clinic, such as elderly patients, patients in care facilities, and patients in their homes. The role involves both clinical work and operational area responsibility. This means you help ensure that the mobile operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Responsibilities You will, among other things: - Assist dentists during treatments. - Prepare materials, instruments, and equipment. - Manage packing for mobile visits. - Follow hygiene procedures and ensure order at the end of the workday. - Help with driving schedules and daily planning. - Ensure correct patient information is available before visits. - Follow up to ensure patients receive new appointments as needed. - Communicate with patients, family members, care facilities, and internal staff. - Report shortcomings, discrepancies, or improvement suggestions to your supervisor. Important About the Responsibility The area responsibility is practical and operational in nature. You are responsible for structure, planning, materials, procedures, and follow-up. Clinical decisions, diagnoses, and treatment plans are the responsibility of the dentist. What We're Looking For - Trained dental hygienist. - Experience in dental care. - Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. - Valid driver's license (Category B). - Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible. - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. - Professional and reassuring approach to patients. Meritorious Qualifications - Experience with mobile dental care. - Experience working with elderly patients or patients with special needs. - Experience with planning or coordination. - Experience with dental records management systems. - Language skills beyond Swedish.
