We are now seeking welders and sheet metal workers for our unique production of cutting-edge submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards. In your role, you will work with installation, maintenance, and repair. We use a wide range of welding methods, from MIG/MAG/MMA to TIG and robotic welding, with material thicknesses over 10mm, which will test your expertise and professional skill. As a welder and structural sheet metal worker, you will come into contact with many different specialty steels used in submarine manufacturing. Your Profile To be suitable as a welder with us, you have: Work experience in welding using various welding methods Experience with welding method 136 Experience with welding method 141 or 111 Education or equivalent experience in welding material thicknesses over 10 mm Experience in reading technical drawings Flexibility, Collaboration skills, Initiative, and Orderliness Computer proficiency At least 5 years of experience working in welding To be suitable as a structural sheet metal worker with us, you have: Experience in structural sheet metal work and welding Experience in manufacturing and assembling steel structures Industrial technical secondary education Good knowledge of reading technical drawings Experience with welding methods 136, 141, and 111 in material thicknesses over 20 mm Flexibility, Collaboration skills, Initiative, and Orderliness Computer proficiency At least 5 years of experience working in sheet metal work Meritorious: Welding certifications Experience with material preheating Experience in gas cutting Hot work Experience with carbon arc cutting/carbon arc gouging Previous work in material group 3 Previous work in shipyard or other heavy welding industry. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security screening regulations at any given time.
