Your role as a specialist nurse includes, among other things: • Guiding and supporting nursing staff in various care situations, including preventing and alleviating BPSD symptoms. • BPSD administrator—you provide support and collaborate with other administrators at the facility in BPSD planning, action plans, and approach plans. • Providing support to contact persons, including in implementation plans. • Providing support to the care prevention representatives in their role; we work from a preventive approach. We work based on IBIC and are developing our documentation. You provide support to our documentation representatives and to nursing staff. You will lead and allocate work during morning and afternoon shifts based on resident focus and work closely with the unit managers at the facility. You are a good ambassador for your profession as a specialist nurse in Boden Municipality. You will work closely with and receive support from the Work Development Leader and the Dementia Care Developer. You will receive regular professional nursing supervision in a group setting together with other specialist nurses led by a certified professional supervisor. You will also receive training based on your needs. QUALIFICATIONS A specialist nurse is a trained nursing assistant with advanced professional competence for qualified work with persons with dementia or elderly individuals with mental health conditions.
