Specialist Production Planner - Machining

Your Role As a Specialist Production Planner, you will work on both new construction and modification projects for submarines and surface vessels. You create work orders based on production documentation and plan efficient production execution aligned with the production facility's capabilities and processes. The completed planning is handed over to production, and when manufacturing begins, you provide support in the project startup phase. Your daily work involves multiple cross-functional interfaces and includes continuous coordination with production personnel, as well as regular dialogue with Technical Planners, Production Engineers, and designers. In your role as Specialist Production Planner, you have broad knowledge at the interface between design and production. This means you can perform standard production planning, but also create production-adapted versions of 3D documentation, assist with trial assembly, and implement various improvement initiatives. Your Profile As a person, you are curious and relationship-oriented, with a drive to find solutions that optimize production work. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who understands the importance of interacting and working cross-functionally to find the best answers to complex problems. We consider the following as requirements: Ability to correctly interpret and read drawings/documentation and requirements specifications Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written High level of technical interest and a curious mindset Post-secondary technical education or equivalent professional experience We consider the following as advantageous experiences: Experience in marine, process, or manufacturing industry General knowledge of materials Knowledge of creating digital production documentation such as STEP files Experience working in ERM or similar business systems Participation in large-scale, complex development projects and operations This position requires that you complete and be approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
