The Family Department consists of 42 employees and is responsible for the social services' work with children and young people, with the exception of services provided under the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). WORK DUTIES As a Social Worker in the children's group (0-11 years) or youth group (12-20 years), you will work together in a team consisting of 4 social workers in each respective group, conducting investigations, reviewing reported concerns in incoming cases, and following up on decided interventions (with the exception of our placed children, for whom placement workers are responsible). You will also collaborate closely with investigators in the children's/youth group, reception, specialist social workers, family therapists, and group managers. We have the ability to offer children and their families the support we believe they need and collaborate well within the department. We place great value on legally sound case management and have documented and easily accessible work procedures that are well-anchored in the work group you will be joining. All employees are expected to participate in the department's continuous improvement work. We monitor the work environment regularly to ensure that the workload is reasonable and morale is good. Our well-developed administrative support relieves staff in daily work. You will also receive external supervision every third week together with your colleagues in your respective group. All new employees receive a thorough introduction. We participate in the National Board of Health and Welfare's Professional Journey program. The Professional Journey is a concept for introduction and professional development for social services employees. It has been developed through collaboration between the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKR), the National Board of Health and Welfare, and Regional Collaboration and Support Structures (RSS). QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A degree in Social Work • Strong ability in Swedish, both spoken and written • Strong documentation skills It is also advantageous if you have: • Experience in authority work within child and youth case management • Good knowledge of BBIC • Good knowledge of FREDA screening questions, iRiSk, Signs of Safety • Good knowledge of ADAD (relevant for youth investigations) • Experience with family law matters and working with families experiencing serious relationship conflicts and where violence occurs • B-class driver's license We are looking for someone who works according to a clear process and organizes and structures your work well. Furthermore, you demonstrate good professional conduct, are calm, responsible, clear, and flexible. You have good collaboration skills and remain composed in stressful situations. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and see opportunities in change. Personal suitability is given great weight. Selection and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
