We have both physically ill patients and people with dementia distributed across six departments. About the role You are central to the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operation. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this work, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations. Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and seeing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear routines To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easy-to-apply routines, policy documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading. As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we prefer that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple illnesses and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge about various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
