We have a strong focus on psychiatric care and work with the patient at the center. Our patients are primarily people with substance use disorders, often in combination with complex and extensive psychiatric comorbidities, who require psychiatric acute care. The operations run 24/7 and we currently have nine care beds. At our facility, nurses and nursing assistants work in teams that form the core of care work. In addition, we have physicians, a social worker, and a medical secretary on the unit. We maintain high staffing levels to create a well-functioning and balanced operation. We offer mentorship support for four weeks upon employment to provide security and a good introduction to work on the unit. We have close collaboration with other psychiatric care units at the clinic where development, collegial support, and competence are in focus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We now have the opportunity to welcome new nursing colleagues who want to be part of our team and contribute to developing our unit! We work in care teams where nurses and nursing assistants work side by side with mutual respect, collaboration, and a focus on the patient. Daily planning occurs in close collaboration between nursing assistants, nurses, senior physicians, and patients. Work pace can periodically be high and the work involves significant personal responsibility. It involves finding solutions, working with a low-affective approach, and upholding psychiatric care standards. Work hours are scheduled for day and evening shifts, with weekend duty every third week. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency at least equivalent to C1 level according to the Council of Europe scale is required. We would welcome experience in psychiatric care. Specialist training in psychiatry is a merit. For us, it is important that you have an interest in psychiatry and our patients. You enjoy working both independently and in teams. As a person, you are well-organized, have good organizational skills, and a positive attitude. You also have the ability to handle a high work pace and value good patient interaction.
