Your Workplace The psychiatric outpatient care in the county consists of 6 clinics and should, to the extent possible, be seen as part of local healthcare and therefore offer care and treatment in the patient's immediate environment. This means that work is characterized by collaboration with patients, relatives, and other cooperation partners. The operation's mission is to assess, investigate, and treat patients with mental illness and psychological functional impairments. In addition to individual treatment work, team collaboration and cooperation with municipalities and other actors in the care chain are also included. At the psychiatric outpatient clinic in Arvika, nurses, doctors, psychologists, counselors, occupational therapists, care assistants, treatment specialists, and healthcare administrators work together. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday. We conduct group treatments of various kinds in collaboration between different professional categories, which is something we want to develop even further. Your Responsibilities Your duties as a nurse with us consist of varied general psychiatric outpatient work, such as assessment, medication administration and medication follow-up, telephone advice, blood draws, follow-up after inpatient care, emergency visits, and counseling and support contacts. You follow the patient as we strive for coordinated care and treatment with continuity in our patient contacts. Our team consists of multiple competencies. As a nurse, you work at a clinic characterized by team spirit, good communication, and high competence. We are in a development phase with, among other things, more structured diagnostics and follow-up, and we need your contribution! Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. It is advantageous if you have work experience from psychiatric outpatient or inpatient care. You who apply can be a specialist-trained nurse, but you can also be a general nurse.
