Region Dalarna's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) within the Division of Psychiatry and Habilitation is now seeking a Licensed Nurse for the new region-wide operation Mini-Maria in Falun and Mora - accessible clinics for children and young people up to age 21 with risky substance use, harmful use, or addiction, with or without concurrent psychiatric conditions. Mini-Maria operates as part of a region-wide collaboration between Region Dalarna and the municipalities of Dalarna, with Falun Municipality and Mora Municipality as host municipalities. We are now seeking a nurse for the clinic in Mora with a satellite clinic in Älvdalen. The operation is planned to start in autumn 2026. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to work with engaged colleagues from both the municipality and the region to shape work methods, collaboration, and content. The work is characterized by interdisciplinary teamwork, trust, and collaboration, with excellent opportunities for continuous professional development as the operation grows and develops. Mini-Maria is a low-threshold operation offering counseling, support, and treatment for children and young people as well as their close contacts. The work is based on the individual's needs and draws on evidence-based methods and national guidelines. The main clinics in Falun and Mora will have satellite clinics in Avesta and Älvdalen that are staffed regularly. Work is conducted in interdisciplinary teams together with doctors, psychologists, midwives, and treatment specialists from the municipality. Responsibilities As a nurse at Mini-Maria, you will: Work with counseling, support, and treatment for children and young people up to age 21 Provide psychiatric nursing care in individual contacts and team settings Conduct qualified telephone counseling and digital healthcare contacts Manage medications and medical follow-ups Work in an integrated manner addressing both psychosocial issues and any concurrent psychiatric conditions Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers in the region and with home municipalities, schools, and other stakeholders based on the individual's needs Actively participate in building up the operation, including developing routines and work methods Work at both the main clinic in Mora and the satellite clinic in Älvdalen Conduct conversations both in person and digitally Work is primarily during daytime hours, Monday-Friday, with evening shifts approximately once per week. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed Nurse Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing Category B driver's license Meritorious: Experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry Experience working with risky substance use, harmful use, addiction, and/or psychiatry, preferably focused on children and young people Experience working with concurrent conditions - risky substance use, harmful use, or addiction combined with other psychiatric issues Postgraduate education in psychiatric nursing (VUB) CBT - Basic psychotherapy training (step 1) Education and/or experience with treatment methods such as MI, MET, ÅP, MOVE, A-CRA, CBT, or similar evidence-based methods Personal Qualities: To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, solutions-focused, and have a needs-driven approach where you can confidently adapt interventions based on the individual you meet. You are comfortable working with children and young people and their close contacts and have an easy way of building trusting relationships. You work independently with responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying teamwork and seeing collaboration as a natural part of the work. Furthermore, you are organized, communicative, and have a reflective approach that contributes to quality and development in the work.
