About the Operation Welcome to work and develop with us at Ludvika Health Center! We are one of two publicly operated health centers in Ludvika municipality and have approximately 15,500 registered patients. Our team includes, among others, general medicine specialists, ST and AT physicians, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, mental health care coordinators, and medical secretaries. The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, where there is proximity to X-ray, urgent care, and laboratory services. Duties As a nurse at our health center, we offer you a challenging and varied position with great diversity. You will meet patients of all ages and life situations and play a central role in assessing and planning their care. The work includes telephone advice where you independently make medical assessments, work at the assessment clinic with patients seeking treatment for acute issues, and reception work at the nurse clinic including wound care, injections, and skin assessments. You work both independently and in a team with physicians and other professionals to prioritize, plan, and coordinate care based on patients' needs. The role requires good collaboration skills, confidence in your professional role, and a patient-focused approach. We offer a structured and individually tailored introduction where you will have good conditions to enter the work in a safe manner. The introduction is adapted to your experience and competence and occurs in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. You will gradually take on your own responsibility and always have access to support and supervision when needed. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level) Meritorious: District nurse training Experience with Cosmic and telephone advice Experience from primary care or other reception operations Personal qualities: Good communication skills, high empathy, and professional conduct You can collaborate well in a team but are also confident working independently and making your own decisions We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
