About the Operation Welcome to work and develop with us at Ludvika Health Center! We are one of two region-operated health centers in Ludvika municipality and have approximately 15,500 registered patients. Our team includes specialists in general medicine, resident and associate physicians, district nurses, nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, counselors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinator, mental health care coordinator, and medical secretaries. The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, where we have close access to X-ray, urgent care, and lab services. Job Responsibilities As a nurse at our health center, we offer you a challenging and varied role with significant diversity. You will meet patients of all ages and in different life situations, and you will have a central role in assessing and planning their care. Your work includes telephone advice where you independently make medical assessments, work at the assessment clinic with patients seeking care for acute concerns, and nursing clinic work including wound dressing changes, injections, and skin assessments. You will work both independently and in teams with physicians and other professionals to prioritize, plan, and coordinate care based on patients' needs. The role requires good collaboration skills, confidence in your professional role, and a patient-focused approach. We offer a structured and individualized introduction that provides good conditions for entering the role safely. The introduction is tailored to your experience and competence and takes place in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. You will progressively take on independent responsibility and always have access to support and supervision when needed. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse Very good command of Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level) Merits: District nurse education Experience with Cosmic and telephone advice Experience from primary care or other clinic operations Personal Qualities: Good communication skills, high empathy, and professional demeanor You can collaborate well in teams but are also comfortable working independently and making your own decisions We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
