The Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine encompasses the hospital's units with 24-hour emergency care for medical patients ages 0–18, inpatient pediatric and adolescent care, neonatal ward, daycare, and scheduled outpatient clinics in Ängelholm, Landskrona, and Helsingborg. In total, we have approximately 300 employees. The Family Support Team is a multidisciplinary team attached to our daycare that works with young children with various behavioral and developmental difficulties who need team-based interventions. The team works together around each child and family to provide families with the opportunity for assessment and treatment within the same clinic. RESPONSIBILITIES In your role as a nurse with us, you work with the entire family in an interdisciplinary team where you are the connecting link. The team consists of a nurse, physician, dietitian, psychologist, social worker, and speech-language pathologist. The goal of the service is to tailor treatment for the child and family through an interdisciplinary team approach, increase continuity, and support families in complex and challenging situations. Since the assignment within the team comprises 80% of working time, the remaining time is spent at the daycare. In addition to direct patient care, we want all staff to be active and engaged in improvement work and to develop and enhance care throughout the entire department. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, you must be a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare, with experience working in pediatric nursing or child health care. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also required. You have a strong interest in working with children and their families and are responsive to their needs. Additionally, you want to contribute to the development of the service. In your work, you are flexible, enjoy collaboration, and promote a good work environment. Great weight will be given to personal suitability.
