We are a well-functioning unit with 40 dedicated employees who together care for over 11,600 registered patients. Learn more about the benefits and perks we offer at Närhälsan: Benefits and Perks About the Work Your responsibilities at the health center span a broad field of work and include general medicine, where you meet patients of all ages and situations. You work in a health-promoting, advisory, and treatment capacity in primary care, both via phone, home visits, digital care meetings, and at the clinic. Work occurs through both acute and planned activities. You work largely independently with your own clinic for Asthma/COPD patients, where you triage, treat, and follow up with patients. You collaborate closely with colleagues on the unit and cross-professionally within the team, as well as with other actors such as home care services and other specialist care. Together with the health center management, you are responsible for developing and advancing the operations. Educating future colleagues is an important and rewarding part of our mission, which is why supervision of students is also part of your role at the health center. About You You are a licensed nurse and have postgraduate education in Asthma/COPD of at least 15 university credits. It is meritorious if you are a district nurse and have prior experience working as an Asthma/COPD nurse. We are looking for someone who takes initiative in their work and feels confident making independent decisions. You are thorough, have good problem-solving skills, and can effectively prioritize your tasks. You meet many patients in this work, so it is important that you are accommodating, attentive, and have a willingness to help others. We also believe you enjoy teamwork and have a natural ability to collaborate with colleagues and other contacts in your work. You communicate well both verbally and in writing, and are an engaged and good listener in both digital meetings and clinic visits. We would like to see that you have an interest in digitalization and operational development. A professional approach and good treatment of customers, patients, and colleagues are a given for you. The first selection is made by recruiters in the HR department, who invite relevant candidates for a telephone interview. Thereafter, the hiring manager makes a second selection of the applicants and invites them to an interview at the health center. We use competency-based interviews, which means that answers to questions should be based on actual situations. It is important that you describe concrete situations as much as possible and try to avoid generalizing answers – this way we can understand the situation, why you acted as you did, and what the result was.
