JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an information security specialist, you have a very important and central role in ensuring that the agency's information security is robust, efficient, and anchored in operations. You work with independent governance, control, and follow-up and contribute to translating requirements into actual compliance. The role combines strategic and operational work and suits you if you enjoy translating security needs and regulations into practical application, building understanding, and developing security awareness in the organization. You work closely with the business units, where you both support and challenge to reduce risk and create long-term value. You coordinate, develop, and monitor information security efforts and are responsible for, together with SCB's legal experts, interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, and directives, including those from the MCF. The assignment also includes working with classification, management, and protection of security-classified information. You conduct risk analyses, information classifications, and impact assessments, and develop and implement governance and supporting documentation. You design and deliver training and information initiatives and contribute to developing the agency's processes and methods in this field. You also monitor developments in information security and report relevant observations to management, in close cooperation with colleagues in a competent and engaged team. QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have: • Relevant academic education or other education in combination with professional experience that the employer deems equivalent. • Very good knowledge of systematic preventive information security work at both operational and strategic levels • Several years of qualified experience in information security • Good knowledge of relevant national and international standards, regulations, laws, and frameworks. • Good knowledge of security protection and signaling protection It is meriting if you also have: • Relevant certification in information security, such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent • Experience working toward certification according to ISO/IEC 27001/27002 • Experience developing and maintaining regulations and internal rules, and producing guidance, training materials, and recommendations • Experience related to NIS/NIS2 and/or similar regulations • Experience conducting risk and vulnerability analyses, security protection analyses, and setting requirements in procurement/purchasing • Experience working for a government agency or other public sector organization As a person, you are expected to contribute to good and open cooperation, while actively driving your work forward and making decisions within your area of responsibility. Interviews are expected to take place during weeks 34–35 This position is in the Security and Preparedness Section, which is part of the agency management's staff. The section works closely with the IT Department's IT security function. The position is based in either Örebro or Solna strand, and domestic travel will be included. Based on operational requirements, there is also an opportunity to work part-time from home. The employment is permanent and typically begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date will be agreed upon. This position is security-classified, so we will conduct a security clearance with a background check before making an employment decision.
