Our skilled full-time mentors work with student social matters and contribute to our efforts in creating safety and study peace. Our structures for collegial collaboration are well-established with scheduled subject time each week, and there is a culture at the school of doing things together and helping each other. (In the fall, we will remove our local agreement and return to working 35+10) 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you teach Swedish 40% and Spanish 60%. You have access to subject classrooms where we invest in the physical and pedagogical work environment. You are also part of a subject team with very competent and experienced colleagues in your subjects. As a teacher, you plan, conduct, and follow up on your teaching according to the curriculum Lgr22. You create inspiring learning environments where students can explore and develop their knowledge within the subject. You become part of a work team with professional and engaged educators. As a teacher with us, you serve as the responsible teacher for a class, which you share with two other colleagues. At the school, we have full-time mentors who work with student social matters and their knowledge development at both group and individual levels, in collaboration with teachers. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification with eligibility to teach Spanish and Swedish in grades 7-9. Alternatively, you have ongoing studies that will be completed shortly. It is meritorious if you have previous experience teaching in educational activities, from work or student teaching practice. We also view positively experience teaching according to the current curriculum. The position requires that you have very good skills in Swedish and Spanish in spoken and written form, and that you feel comfortable using IT as part of your teaching. We place great importance on personal qualities and see that you are a leader who can adapt your leadership style to the classroom situation. You are an engaged employee with good collaboration skills. You can build trust and listen to different needs, and you communicate easily with both young people and adults.
