Teknik i Väst is now seeking two sanitation workers – one for septic tank pumping and one for garbage collection. Teknik i Väst is a municipal company responsible for waste management, water and sewerage, and recycling in Arvika. We work closely with residents to create a clean and sustainable living environment. You will be stationed at our waste facility at Mosseberg, where you will start your workday every day. Qualifications To succeed in the role of sanitation worker, we see that you have: C-class driver's license and valid hazmat certification (required for garbage collection) CE-class driver's license (required for septic tank pumping) Completed upper secondary education. Good computer skills. Good proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. Good physical condition and enjoy active outdoor work. A genuine interest in technology and vehicles. It is a merit if you have previously: Experience working with septic tank pumping or garbage collection. Responsibilities As a sanitation worker, your responsibilities include: Sanitation Worker – Septic Tank Pumping You work with emptying individual wastewater systems and septic tanks. The work is done using specialized vehicles and involves customer contact as well as responsibility for ensuring the work is performed safely and correctly. Sanitation Worker – Garbage Collection You work with collecting household waste and recyclable materials. The work involves operating garbage trucks and handling containers.
