Accounting Economist

We are seeking an accounting economist/authorized accounting consultant for a central role in an organization with multiple operational areas, responsible for ensuring that accounting work functions stably, correctly, and efficiently. The position is part-time (50%). About the role As an economist/accounting consultant, you will work broadly with ongoing accounting work and be responsible for bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and reporting functioning well. The role is operational and business-focused, with an emphasis on managing and coordinating the various parts of the accounting function in daily work. You will work closely with the CEO and provide financial information, follow-up, and practical support in budgeting and planning work. Your area of responsibility Ongoing accounting and payroll Responsibility for ongoing bookkeeping (approximately 4,000 vouchers/year), accounts receivable and bank reconciliations, Z-reports, customer invoices, and gift card sales Charging and follow-up per cost center Payroll administration for 25 employees Ensure functioning routines and approval flows VAT and employer declarations Payments of supplier invoices, payroll Education and experience A higher education degree in economics/authorized accounting consultant is required. Several years of experience working as an economist/authorized accounting consultant is an asset. Have experience with independent accounting Feel comfortable with monthly closing Have experience with payroll management Have good system skills. We use Fortnox. Are structured, thorough, and analytical Thrive in a role with both responsibility and independence It is an asset (requirement) if you have previously worked in a broad accounting role or been responsible for multiple areas within accounting and administration. Financial statements and reporting Produce monthly financial statements and financial information for the CEO/owner Prepare annual reports and year-end closing Handle VAT, employer, and income declarations Budgeting and follow-up Participate in budgeting work together with the CEO/owner Follow up on results per operational area and liquidity Produce results, forecasts, and simple analyses to support operations Contribute to developing and improving accounting routines Be the contact person with the bank, auditor, and authorities Counseling We offer An independent and varied role Opportunity to work broadly in accounting Close collaboration with the CEO/owner A workplace where history, hospitality, and development meet in everyday life Collective agreement A family-like atmosphere among the staff Employment terms and application Work location: Sätra Brunn resort Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month trial period Scope: Part-time (50%) Salary: By agreement Start date: By agreement.
