Your Responsibilities As a production technician, you will work closely with operators and manufacturing managers within a part of the manufacturing workflow and become part of a team of production technicians who support and help each other. The role includes, among other things, having product knowledge, understanding the manufacturing flow, analyzing deviations, and identifying improvements so that we contribute to delivering quality from the first unit. You will organizationally belong to our Manufacturing Unit in Halmstad, which we are currently building up and expanding with more production technicians. As part of the technician team, you will be responsible for product and manufacturing-related matters within the manufacturing area you support. In addition to your production technical responsibilities, you are expected to work together with colleagues and manufacturing teams in the journey to create a production based on Agile and Lean principles. Your responsibilities include: • Proactively maintain and optimize manufacturing flow and manufacturing processes • Support analysis of metrics and provide improvement suggestions • Ensure that new operations and new techniques can be handled by operators • Manage issues related to the manufacturing process • Carry out project tasks such as creating and maintaining work orders, routings, instructions, handle deviations, and other project assignments • Provide some support to our operators • Participate in operational meetings and reviews and manage activities initiated from these Your Profile We are looking for someone with: • Relevant university degree – BSc or MSc, preferably in, for example, Production Engineering • At least several years of experience as a production technician • Experience working and deriving energy from collaborating at the interface between design and production • Experience working in a process-driven manner and who sees the opportunity to challenge and improve these processes • Good analytical skills and can identify measures and activities • Good ability to understand and express yourself in English and Swedish Previous experience working with our business system IFS is a merit. Good communication skills are essential in daily work as personal meetings are a central part of the role. You are curious, positive, and can plan your work based on the organization's needs. At the same time, you are accustomed to leading yourself to achieve a healthy and sustainable workload and also support others with this when needed. You are drawn to challenges and problem-solving and together with your team, you strive for continuous improvement, reduced costs, and on-time deliveries. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations in force.
