About the Role As a production technician, you work as important support to both manufacturing and product development. You're close to production in your day-to-day work and collaborate closely with functions such as line managers, production planners, technical coordinators, and warehouse and logistics. At the same time, you have many contact points with other parts of the organization, for example project management, development, and procurement. You're part of cross-functional teams where you together drive the work forward and contribute with different competencies throughout the product's lifecycle – from design and development to production, testing, and delivery. This is a role where you both get to work operatively close to production and be part of developing work methods and processes over time. You get significant responsibility in your work, while also having support from engaged colleagues. Your main responsibilities: Support and train production personnel on production technical matters Review construction documentation and implement design changes Develop and improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements Create and update production documentation and work instructions Contribute to problem-solving and support production with deviations Ensure that the right tools and equipment are available in production Develop layouts and process flow diagrams for production Your Profile We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology who enjoys working close to production. You're curious, structured, and comfortable in a role where you can combine problem-solving with improvement work. You have good collaboration and communication skills with different functions within the organization. Requirements: Post-secondary education in production engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent, or relevant work experience Experience with production and manufacturing processes Experience working with technical documentation Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written The position is placed in a security classification. Before employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
