Evaluation Criteria This is a merit-based employment position primarily focused on research. The position is intended as an initial step in a research career, and the evaluation of applicants will primarily be based on their scientific merits and potential as researchers. Particular emphasis will be placed on scientific competence within the field. For postdoctoral appointment, the following shall form the basis for evaluation: You have strong ability to develop, plan, and conduct high-quality research, demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and participation in competitive research projects. You have the ability to formulate research questions, apply appropriate experimental or analytical methods, and critically interpret scientific results. You have teaching competence, demonstrated through experience in teaching, supervision of students, or participation in courses at undergraduate or advanced level. Additional Merits: Knowledge and Experience that Constitute Merits: It is meritorious if you have experience in biosensor technology, electrochemical analysis, or bioelectronic components. It is meritorious if you have experience in surface chemistry, functional materials, or nanostructured systems for biomedical applications. It is meritorious if you have experience in interdisciplinary research combining chemistry, materials science, and life sciences. It is meritorious if you have experience working in externally funded research projects or international collaborations. Expertise/Personal Qualities that Constitute Merits: It is meritorious if you have a high degree of independence in planning and conducting research activities. It is meritorious if you have strong ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary and international research teams. It is meritorious if you have good communication skills and can disseminate research results through presentations and publications. Education that Constitutes Merits: It is meritorious if you have completed education or specialized courses in bioelectronics, spectroscopy, electrochemistry, or advanced materials characterization. Other Forms of Merits: It is meritorious if you have experience with peer review for scientific journals or participation in conference organization. It is meritorious if you have experience in science communication, innovation work, or scientific outreach. Consideration will be given to how the applicant, through their experience and competence, is assessed to complement and strengthen research within the department/institution and contribute to its future development.
