Inova assistans provides personal assistance supported by highly competent staff and a commitment to advancing the individual's right to self-determination. Our ambition is to create contexts and activities that promote social participation and increased understanding between people with different living circumstances. We are now seeking personal assistants for an elderly man with acquired brain injury who lives in his own home in Uppsala. Currently, we are looking for temporary hourly workers to cover shifts when regular staff are absent. This may involve absences during both short and longer periods. Experience in personal assistance is a merit but not a requirement – what matters most is that you are engaged and willing to learn. We are looking for someone who is flexible, creative, positive, collaborative, and has the ability to see solutions and opportunities. You should be able to work independently and take significant responsibility, as the work involves some solo time with the individual. Before starting, we offer introductory sessions so you can assess whether the role suits you and if there is a good personal chemistry from both sides. A requirement is that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speaking and writing.
