Personal assistant needed for me, Tomas, in Katrineholm We are now looking for a secure, warm, and committed personal assistant for Tomas, who lives centrally in Katrineholm. Tomas is 61 years old and lives with hemiparesis and aphasia following illness. He needs help and support in all daily activities, both at home and in activities outside the home. The assistance is around-the-clock with sleeping nights, and the work also includes weekends. Tomas enjoys music, sports, and doing things together with his family. This could involve joining activities, going on small outings, or just making everyday life more enjoyable and easier together. We are therefore looking for someone who is social, attentive, and comfortable being a support in someone else's daily life. Preferably someone who shares Tomas' interests and would occasionally like to go to concerts (lots of hard rock), hockey, football, etc. The work involves support with daily routines, personal care, assistance during meals, and creating security and structure throughout the day. You work in Tomas' home where his wife lives, and where children and grandchildren are a very important part of Tomas' life. You must have the ability to be sensitive and show consideration for the family as well. The most important thing is that the personal chemistry feels right. You need to be both a helping hand and pleasant company, almost like a friend in everyday life. We are looking for someone who: * Is calm, thoughtful, and responsible * Enjoys working closely with people * Has patience and can create security * Likes music, sports, and social activities * Preferably has a driver's license since Tomas has his own adapted car * Does not smoke There are cats in the home, so you should not be allergic. Experience with personal assistance is a merit, but personal suitability is what matters most.
